Come To Me Gently is Olomana's effort to call people back to the spirit that is Hawaii. This music stressed the importance in sharing between the generations. A real labor of love, this recording was inspired by Auntie Emma DeFries who wrote "E Ku'u Sweet Lei Poina 'Ole" and taught us her Grandmother's "Pua Alani". This CD contains the only known recording of her singing.

This album received six Na Hoku Hanohano awards from The Hawaii Acadamy of Recording Arts:

  • Contemporary Hawaiian Album Of The Year
  • Album Of The Year
  • Song Of The Year - Come To Me Gently by Jerry Santos
  • Hawaiian Language Song Of The Year -
E Ku'u Sweet Lei Poina 'Ole by Emma DeFries
  • Group Of The Year
  • Engineer- Jim Linkner
